Buca Commissary Pastry Chef

Buca Toronto is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for pastry production and to take the lead in our Commissary Program.  This position would be ideal for someone who enjoys an early start to their day and strives to consistently develop and mentor the team.  

 

The day would begin at 4am till approx. 3pm.

-Able to inspire pastry team by sharing refined techniques, with the desire to mentor and teach others

-A leader with proven abitity to manage the commissary with attention to detail and focus to artisnal baking while consistently evolving to modern technique

-Encourages others to create and share ideas / recipes

-Demonstrates leadership in creating a culture that revolves around the experience and enjoyment of food and cooking

-Builds and maintains relationships with BOH/FOH staff and suppliers

-Demonstrates personal integrity, strong work ethics and takes every opportunity for continuous learning

-Ensures ordering, inventory and receiving practises are maintained

-Practises proper health and safety procedures and maintains a clean working environment 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum 3 years experience in pastry / baking 

-Disciplined and dedicated approach to culinary skills
