Primary Responsibilities:            

  • Accurate and timely completion of financial reporting including financial statements, operational reporting, and ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Analyze financial information to increase profitability and provide guidance to management
  • Develop or improve processes related to cashflow management, internal controls and fiscal period reconciliations
  • Develop or improve operational controls and reporting company wide
  • Oversee management of cashflow and company assets
  • Provide insight and analysis on restaurant performance to ownership and restaurant management
  • Lead the accounting and payroll team responsible for full cycle accounting duties
  • Assist in purchasing and contract negotiations
  • Work with external accounting firm in review of financial statements and completion of corporate tax filings
  • Provide input and guidance on technology and restaurant system improvements from an accounting/finance perspective
  • Support ownership group with capital financing, legal and strategic decision-making



  • CPA designation and post-secondary education
  • Hospitality Accounting / F&B Accounting considered an asset
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Proven leader with the ability to work closely with small and large teams
  • Experience implementing process and control improvements with an eye on improving profitability and operational efficiency
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Familiarity with hospitality business and systems is an asset but not required
  • Willingness to take ownership over the finance/accounting function and mould the department through your vision
  • Positive, can-do attitude that thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
