Butcher (Jacobs & Co.)

A "Master Butcher" is one who has knowledge in the cutting of all types of beef, pork, lamb,veal, and poultry. Master butchers have an understanding of all grades and cuts.  

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Butcher - This is a full time position - Day Shifts 8AM - 5PM

Qualifications:
* 2 years experience in a fine dining steakhouse, preferred with butchery experience
* Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
* Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
* Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
* Able to spend 100% of the time standing (up to 10 hours/shift)
