Primary duties and responsibilities:

Butcher - This is a full time position - Day Shift 


* Perform delegated tasks from the Executive Chef and take the lead on butchery for the restaurant 
* Assist in food inventory and control
* Assist in properly receiving, inspecting and storing meats 
* Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
* Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

Qualifications:
* 2 years experience in a fine dining steakhouse, preferred with butchery experience
* Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
* Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
* Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
* Able to spend 100% of the time standing
