Junior Sous Chef (Buca Osteria & Enoteca)

The Junior Sous Chef translates the concept and vision of Buca into a successfully operating kitchen by upholding integrity and quality.

He/ she supports the Head Chef, to work with the team to create and maintain a working environment in which the culture is positive and the highest food standards are achieved, exceeding both customer and staff expectations.


  • 3-5 years kitchen management experience, preferably in a similar high quality, high volume environment
  • Passion for food & culinary excellence
  • High level of integrity
  • Discipline and vision
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships; strong team leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Reputation for paying fanatical attention to detail
  • Personal and professional drive; takes initiative
  • Exceptional communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Performs well in a performance based culture
  • Is very hands on and motivates by setting the example
  • Red Seal Certified or Culinary Management Certificate an asset
